I am on my way to the airport to pick our artists Mike Siv, Spencer Nakasako & praCh Ly. You can meet them tomorrow and Friday night when Mike Siv screens his documentary film Struggle & Flow: In 9 Tracks, about Cambodian American rapper praCh Ly, told through his own words and music. A performance by praCh will follow the screening.
The film tells the story of the Lys birth in Cambodia, his arrival in America, and his life growing up in the housing projects of Long Beach. praCh has been dubbed the pioneer of Khmer Rap by Newsweek.
