As part of the second phase of her residency, Yang will further her in-depth exploration of Duras by developing the staged presentation of the author’s surrealistic novella The Malady of Death. Working with Jade Gordon of the performance collective My Barbarian, Yang will develop the play during a private three-day theatrical workshop at the Walker.
